RAGLM needs volunteers to help maintain these trails.

RAGLM has adopted two trails in Harford Springs Park through a new County sponsored program. We have adopted Trail 8 and Trail 16. I have circled our trails on the image map of the park. Each trail is less than ¼ mile long and an easy walk.

Our trails has signs showing that these trails have been adopted by RAGLM. Please watch for them as you walk or ride thru the park!

One of the County’s requirements for adopting trails is that you work on them four times a year. Our Trail 8 is wide and very clean. We would only need to do trash pick-up. Trail 16 needs more work as there is quite a bit of erosion and it is overgrown with bushes.

The RAGLM Coordinator has been trained on respecting and preserving the plants, flowers and animals in our park. You will receive these same instructions on our work day and no other training is required.

This new trailer is all ready and willing to attend our trail clean-up days. It is equipped with shovels, rakes, gloves and all types of implements including weed-eaters to make our volunteer efforts easier.
